In our in-box today, we received a programme for the forthcoming Innsbruck Early Music Festival. Never was a programme (or, indeed, a town) so packed with the sound of music! Do take a look.
We're not alone! We've come across another suggestion that you spend your Bank Holiday profitably, by applying for grant funding. This one's the Scottish Film Talent Network, promoting Scottish Shorts 2017.

We often receive brochures about festivals, courses and competitions. Today we received the leaflet for Making Music's Summer School of Music. (Hint - there are discounts and scholarships available!) This might appeal to talented pupils and their families, so do pass the link on!

Experience Database study day

The Listening Experience Database project has been
running for almost 4 years and is collecting evidence through the writings of
non-professional reviewers of reactions to listening to music. The project
spans all historical periods and all musical styles. Our Glasgow study day will
comprise short papers given by members of the project team and will include a
demonstration of the database and its use as a research resource.
