Whittaker has mentioned James Clear before - he writes in a very approachable way about behavioural psychology and habit-forming.
This week, he blogged about the psychological benefits of writing about your personal values, in a journal or elsewhere. Read it here.

Have you got a BHAG Journal?
Karen bought herself a copy of Jurgen Wolff's Creativity Now at lunchtime. Looking for inspiration for this very Whittaker Live blog, she thought she'd take a look at Wolff's own website.
And what did we find? The 'BHAG Journal'. It stands for Big Hairy Audacious Goal Journal, apparently. So ... have you got one?
Now, we haven't got Wolff's book in the Whittaker Library (yet); however, we have a lot of books about creativity. Take a look HERE. You might be inspired to find some new BHAGs of your own!

Getting into Character
Queen Victoria's diaries
Queen Victoria's personal journals are now available digitally. BBC news item here. (A nice, Royal story appropriate for the Jubilee!)
'We kissed each'
The intimate side of the queen is revealed through an entry after her marriage to Prince Albert in February 1840. She wrote of her new husband: "He clasped me in his arms, and we kissed each other again and again!
"Oh! was ever woman so blessed as I am."
