SIBMAS 2008 - RSAMD, Glasgow 25-29 August
Capturing the essence of performance: the challenges of intangible heritage.
RSAMD hosted a big international conference last week - the organisation was SIBMAS, the international association for libraries and museums of the performing arts. SIBMAS meets every 2 years for an international conference, and it was an honour that RSAMD, Glasgow hosted it this year.
Organised with flair and precision by Alan Jones - who is the SIBMAS Vice-President and our own Drama Librarian - the whole week went fantastically well. Crowds of happy faces bore witness to that. Alan - the applause at the end was well-deserved!
