Leeds University is hosting a conference about Music and the Idea of the North, 6th - 7th September, in Leeds Town Hall - this is to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Town Hall.
Call for papers: abstracts should be submitted by 31st March 2008.
Scotland is still "north" - let's have a good Scottish presence there!
