Prize for Composition (Solo Guitar) 2014
The
Thomas Wilson Trust is pleased to announce the Thomas Wilson Prize for
Composition (Solo Guitar) 2014. Persons under the age of 26 on 30
November 2014 are invited to submit an original, unpublished and
unperformed work for solo guitar lasting approximately ten minutes.
Entries will be scrutinised by a panel of eminent experts and three
finalists will be selected for performance during the Big Guitar Weekend
at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Glasgow, in November 2014.
The Prize fund this year is £1000 and the closing date for entries is 1 October 2014.
