Arts-humanities.net

Arts-humanities.net - funded by JISC and AHRC (Arts and Humanities Research Council) - is an online hub for UK researchers working in digital humanities. Here's a quote from their homepage:-

arts-humanities.net: guide to digital humanities & arts

... aims to support and advance the use and understanding of digital tools and methods for research and teaching in the arts and humanities by providing:

  • Information on projects creating & using digital content, tools & methods to answer research questions
  • Info on tools & methods for creating/ using digital resources
  • Listing of expert centres & individual researchers
  • Library documenting lessons learned through case studies, briefing papers, and a bibliography

Two archived videos from this summer's recent Digital Arts and Humanities conference will be of interest to musicians at RSAMD:-

  • Performance and research: CHARM & Lads in their Hundreds 22/07/2010 (Video DH2010)
  • AHRC Research Centre for the History & Analysis of Recorded Music 22/07/2010 (Video DH2010)
